A cross-section of a log, given to Herb Doman as a token of appreciation from the employees at the Doman Industries sawmill at Cowichan Bay, sits on a tiled floor abutting a grassy outdoor area. The cross-section of the log is decorated with a red Doman Industries logo and fitted with a small plaque bearing the dedication.
