Description
The interior of a birthday card made for Herb Doman's 60th birthday. The verso of the card includes birthday wishes and signatures from fourteen people. The recto of the card includes a pen and marker illustration of a tugboat pulling a shipping barge through an inlet abutted by a forested coastline. A wood processing plant sits on top of the shipping barge, identified as the Vancouver Division.

Text on verso reads "Happy 60th. Herb" and ""Sea cruise" sounds great; provided its not a scow on Fraser River destined for Duke Pt. Happy 60th!!! -[illegible signature]". Signatures on verso are illegible. Caption on recto reads "History is also littered with the ideas of men who, in the eleventh hour, should just have gone to bed..." Labels in illustration on recto read "Van. Div." and "S.S. Sea Span". Date on recto reads "92".
