Notes
Paul S. Sunga studied philosophy and cell biology at the University of Ottawa and completed his doctorate in medical science at the University of British Columbia. He has served as an international health consultant to the Government of Canada in more than a dozen countries in Africa and Asia and currently teaches medical sciences. Among his published works are three novels focused on socio-political and scientific themes: The Lions (1992), Red Dust, Red Sky (2008) and, most recently, Because of Nothing At All (2022).
