The birthplace of Abbu Jahir is listed as Bengal. Due to the 1947 partition of India, Bengal was divided into two distinct entities: East Pakistan (now independent Bangladesh), and the Indian province of West Bengal. We have listed Bangladesh as the birthplace of Jahir, however the possibility of it being in West Bengal is also possible.
