Newspaper clipping titled, "Valley links to booming Punjab," published in the Vancouver Sun on 12th February, 2007 and written by Joanne Lee-Young, discusses how Abbotsford Indo-Canadian entrepreneurs, such as Jatinder Sidhu and Manjit Dhillon, are planning to gain new opportunities in their homeland Punjab, as they believe that British Columbia's presence in Indian businesses has been laggard, thus, arising a need to spread more awareness about business opportunities in India among B.C. firms. The article further notes how they also plan on using the province's significant base of Punjabi Indo-Candians as the means for networking and sparking trades in India.
