Newspaper clipping titled, "A-G Calls For Fight Against 'Cancer' of Spousal Abuse," published in the Vancouver Sun on 3rd November, 2006 and written by Kim Bolan. On November 2nd, 2006 more than two thousand people gathered at an emergency community forum organised by Surrey-based Radio India focusing on violence against women in the South Asian community. The article notes that Wally Oppal, the Attorney-General, was in attendence, and thanked the women for recounting their stories.
