Description
A proposal outlining the specifics of the Abbotsford Heritage Gurdwara Centennial Mural, along with the budget, an estimated completion date, and the painter's name and contact information. The proposal details a 4x8 foot mural painted by Jarnail Singh. The painting shows the Gurdwara on the left side, called as the Sikh Temple.The central part of the painting shows the popular legend that pioneer Sikhs carried the lumber, which was donated by Abbotsford Lumbar Company, on their shoulders and backs to the site of the Gurdwara. The backdrop constitutes of The Abbotsford Lumbar Company situated near mill lake along with the mountains as seen from the South Fraser Way.
