Description
Newspaper clipping titled, "Community comes through and helps UCFV meet financial goal for indo-Canadian centre", author unidentified published by UCFV newspaper highlighting the success of a two-year fundraising campaign to support the establishment of the University College of the Fraser Valley's Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies and Research. The campaign was able to meet their goal of matching the provincial government's $1.25 million for the Canada-India Business Economic Chair. They were most pleased to find out that the majority of the donations were from the small businesses and families belonging to the community itself, rather than large businesses and corporations.
