Description
Photo of Janki Shori taken in a studio setting. She is seated on a chair wearing a dark dress and light-coloured chunni. Standing next to her is her husband, Jogi Ram, wearing a suit. Ram was in the entertainment business in Vancouver and once owned The New Delhi Cabaret on 544 Main Street, Vancouver. He was often involved with gangsters, and was known to be a gambler himself. In the photograph, Ram has his hand resting on the back of the chair, behind Shori. On her other side is a stand with a vase full of flowers.
