Description
The story consists of Surjit Kaur's childhood in Punjab, India, and all of the skills she learned. It talks about her marriage to Gurdev Singh and how Gurdev Singh was sponsored to come to Canada without her. Surjit Kaur's story consists of her hardship of communicating with her husband overseas. When she finally got her sponsorship papers, she was reunited with her husband and had to leave her homeland, which she struggled with.
