Notes
The aftermath of the September 7, 1907 Vancouver riot. The South Asian man in the far right was a friend of the Japanese store owner. He was helping the Nishimura family clean up from the riot. This same family friend helped the Nishimuras by holding their possessions in the period of Japanese internment during World War II.
