Photograph of Dr. Gurdev Singh Gill standing near a wheelbarrow holding a shovel. There are five other men seen standing with him, with one man holding another shovel. Behind them, a sixth man is visible coming up the stairs in the background. Dr. Gill and the volunteers are pouring cement at the Ross Street gurdwara in Vancouver. Under Dr. Gill's leadership in 1970, the Khalsa Diwan Society raised money to build a new gurdwara in Vancouver.
