The Kabir Cultural Centre, named after the 15th century Indian mystic poet, is a multi-disciplinary arts organization based in Montreal, Quebec. Since their founding in 2002, they have acted as presenters, promoters and producers of various artistic events connected to South Asian Classical arts and related disciplines with a particular focus on music and dance forms. This collection, containing selected poster advertisments for performances and screenings hosted by the Kabir Cultural Centre between 2004 and 2010, provides a window into the vibrant pluralistic arts scene of the South Asian diaspora in and around Montreal.
