Photo of Gurdev Hari, the winner of the 1950 Lady of the Lake beauty pageant in Lake Cowichan, B.C. She is seated on a parade float. She is wearing a white saree with a corsage on the right shoulder along with the regalia given to the pageant winner - a paper crown, a scepter and a sash reading "Lady of the Lake". The parade float is decorated to resemble a boat.
