Newspaper clipping titled, "Delegates Discuss Indo-Canadian Cooperation" details the events of a two-day seminar "Cooperative development, peace and security: Indo-Canadian cooperation" organized at the Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID) in Sector 19, Chandigarh on 17th December, 2009. The purpose of the seminar was to promote connectivity between India and other friendly countries. The first two sessions focused on international organized crime, followed by the afternoon session that discussed food security, food diversification and sustainable rural development in Canada and India.
