“The Winner Circle Albums” record the history of Charan Gill’s family in the Thoroughbred Racing Industry from 1950 to 1994. Two individual photos of the winning horse, "Pole Position" from the race on March 17, 1979 at Santa Anita. The photo on top captures the horses crossing the Finish Line. The group photo below is taken after the race in the “Winner’s Circle” where the happy owners, family and friends gather to celebrate. Left to right: The winning horse, "Pole Position" and the jockey, Sandy Hawley, with a group of unidentified individuals.
