Description
Provided by Kalwant Singh Nadeem Parmar. Portrait of S. Hazara Singh Parmar of the village Panshat, district Kapurthala. He was a passenger on the Komagata Maru. During the riot at Budge Budge, he was shot three times and believed dead. His wife's widowhood ceremony had been performed, so when he returned to the village after his recovery, everyone thought he was a ghost. See Kalwant Singh Nadeem Parmar interview for this story.
