Description
Official First Day Cover issued by Canada Post to mark the release of a new stamp. The stamp was issued to commemorate the Komagata Maru tragedy. The stamp design was created by the graphic design company, Paprika. The cover includes a seal detailing the official release date of the stamp being May 1, 2014. The cover includes a history of the Komagata Maru in English, French, and Punjabi, as well as a historical picture of the passengers of the Komagata Maru, that had been taken on the ship.
