Description
Poem that was read by Dr. Kanwal Singh Neel, at the Komagata Maru 100th Anniversary events hosted by Simon Fraser University on May 23, 2014 at SFU Harbour Centre and later that day, at the Musqueam Community Centre. Dr. Neel's handwritten notes to acknowledge the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, and the Burrard Inlet waters which witnessed the Komagata Maru tragedy are written at the top of the first page. The last page also contains Dr. Neel's notes recording the date and location of the events.
